BOULDER, CO — Oct. 12, 2026 — Perennial, a global leader in end-to-end measurement, monitoring, reporting, and verification (MMRV), and Land to Market, the outcomes-based verified regenerative sourcing solution, today announced a partnership to give brands farm-levelemissions factors and soil organic carbon (SOC) data for the wool, leather and beef they source from farms verified through Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV).

‍

A brand sourcing regenerative wool, leather, beef, dairy or animal by-products today can trace it to the farm it came from. Most still can’t report that farm’s emissions. They use database averages instead: numbers that know nothing about how a specific ranch is managed.

‍

The partnership closes that gap. Farms in the Land to Market program are monitored every year through EOV, and Land to Market’s chain of custody tracks material from farm to brand by volume and origin. Perennial adds farm-level GHG emissions quantification and soil organic carbon (SOC) data to support brands' reporting under applicable frameworks, including the GHG Protocol Land Sector and Removals Standard and SBTi FLAG guidance. Whether an individual brand's inventory conforms depends on its full accounting boundary, methods, data quality and reporting.

‍

Perennial collects only the farm data EOV monitoring does not already cover.

‍

‍The work starts from the farms. EOV monitoring and chain-of-custody records show which farms supply which material and in what volumes. Perennial then helps define the relevant accounting and product boundaries, reviews the data Land to Market already holds, and identifies additional inputs, such as herd composition and feed. From there, it calculates farm- and product-specific emissions factors, applying the relevant co-product allocation method where needed, for example, for wool and meat from the same flock, or hides and beef from the same herd.

‍

Each farmer receives a report on their own operation. Brands receive emissions-factor data linked to their traced supply, with soil carbon stock information reported separately. Changes in soil carbon stocks are not automatically reportable CO2 removals: any removals included in a GHG inventory must independently meet the applicable GHG Protocol Land Sector and Removals Standard requirements for traceability, stock-change quantification, data quality, ongoing monitoring and accounting for reversals.

Availability: The service is available now to brands sourcing from Land to Market verified farms around the world.

Joint work in three countries since 2024, with a first emissions factor delivered in Uruguay

‍

The two teams have worked together on projects in Australia, Uruguay and the United States since 2024. Most recently, Perennial produced a preliminary cradle-to-farm-gate emissions factor for a mixed sheep and cattle operation in Uruguay, using Land to Market farm data and IPCC methodology.

‍

“For years, brands have asked us for verified regenerative supply. Now they need to know what that supply means for their emissions inventory. Database averages can’t tell the difference between a ranch that’s regenerating its land and one that isn’t. With Perennial, brands get numbers from the same farms they source from, and every farmer gets a report on their own operation,” said Felipe Urioste, CEO of Land to Market.

‍

“Land to Market stands for what Perennial stands for: regenerating the land and helping farmers improve their income. Land to Market already has the farms, the monitors and the traceability. We add GHG quantification that brands can use as an input to their inventories, subject to their accounting and reporting requirements,” said JD Carluccio, VP of Commercial at Perennial.

About Land to Market

‍

Land to Market is the world’s first outcomes-based, verified regenerative sourcing solution. Through Ecological Outcome Verification, accredited monitors measure soil health, water, biodiversity and ecosystem function on farms and ranches every year, and only land showing positive outcomes is eligible. Land to Market connects that verified supply to brands through chain of custody, supply intelligence and impact reporting. Land to Market is headquartered in Boulder, Colorado. Its network spans more than 8.8 million acres verified through EOV worldwide and over 130 brands and supply chain partners in beef, leather, wool, animal by-products, dairy and wine.
